THE GE-VISICI HAS BEEN NOMINATED
FOR THE PRIX DE LA JEUNESSE 2024
IN THE COMMITMENT TO YOUTH CATEGORY
GE-VISICI facilitates the learning and integration of 7 to 16 year-olds through climbing and sport in pairs with French-speaking children.
The program offers all registered children and teenagers:
- Weekly climbing lessons,
- outings and sport activities to discover mountain, team and winter sports on the 1st Saturday of each month.
- Two vacation camps each semester. Plus a summer camp.
Plus, for children and teenagers who are learning French:
- French classes every week
- independent audio exercises centered on “key expressions” in different situations, dialogues typical of situations in a child’s or young person’s everyday life (introducing oneself, proposing a game, enquiring about joining a club, telling about a vacation, a weekend, an outing, asking for directions to a course, ….) and specific vocabulary.
- on a case-by-case basis, since January 2024, a form of tutoring tailored to the needs of the child or young person, through independent learning and exercises (languages and maths).
As part of the “Prix de la jeunesse” for its commitment to youth,
GE-visIci is put to the public vote.
